Holcim UK has acquired an asphalt plant in Sharpness to strengthen its offer in the Gloucester and south west area.

The acquisition will reinforce Holcim UK’s position in the asphalt market in the UK and supports the company’s growth strategy.
Holcim UK has purchased the plant from Sharpness Asphalt Limited which holds an accessible location next to the wharf in the Sharpness area of Gloucester.
It will close for a number of weeks for remedial works and aims to reopen next month as a Holcim Express Asphalt site.
