Highflow® Rapide
Rapid-Drying Screed

Faster Drying, Self-Compacting Floor Screed for Rapid Program Completion

Highflow Rapide is a unique and highly innovative self-compacting, self-smoothing, faster drying floor screed for placing by pump or chute. It uses high-quality Gypsol anhydrite and specially selected additives to create a free-flowing screed that dries in a fraction of the time taken for traditional screeds. This allows users to install floor coverings and accelerate construction schedules significantly, while its dimensional stability reduces the risk of cracking without the need for reinforcement.

High Efficiency

Enables greater efficiency of underfloor heating systems due to its rapid thermal response and can be loaded with traffic after just 7 days.

Why HIGHFLOW RAPIDE®

Highflow Rapide offers an exceptional return to service time. Its rapid installation rates, up to 2000m² per day, combined with its faster drying time, significantly reduce the overall program schedule. The dimensional stability of the material, whether heated or unheated, eliminates the need for steel mesh reinforcement. This stability also permits much larger bay sizes (up to 40m max length for unheated), which means fewer joints are required compared to cement-based materials.

This screed must be installed by suitably trained and qualified installers who hold a Gypsol Rapide training course certificate, ensuring a professional and consistent finish.

Applications

Ideal for:

  • Underfloor Heating Systems: Highly suitable for use with underfloor heating, creating a highly energy efficient system due to its rapid thermal response.
  • Residential Buildings: Used in traditional masonry, timber frame, and lightweight steel frame construction types.
  • Commercial and Industrial Floors: The large bay size potential makes it ideal for large commercial and industrial floors, such as in schools, hospitals, and offices.
  • High-Strength Applications: Suitable for projects that require a quick return to service and high-strength flooring.
